Welcome to the August edition of our video series of events and updates from the Township of Woolwich. This month, Mayor Matthias visits Maugeri’s Farm Stand to showcase the Jersey Fresh local produce grown right here in our community. Deputy Mayor Nocentino shares important township updates, and Mayor Matthias also highlights the history of Farmland Preservation efforts in Woolwich. If you’d like to see more preserved farmland in our township, you can help make it happen! Residents are encouraged to email the State Department of Agriculture at contactagriculture@ag.nj.gov or call the New Jersey State Agriculture Development Committee at 609-984-2504 to ask them to open up the pathway for farmland preservation in Woolwich Township.
