PURPOSE STATEMENT
To serve as the trusted custodian of municipal records and the administrative backbone of local government, ensuring transparency, accessibility, and accountability to the residents of Woolwich Township. The Office of the Municipal Clerk is committed to preserving the integrity of public documents, facilitating democratic participation through accurate election administration, and providing professional, courteous service that upholds the public trust. As Municipal Clerk, I strive to maintain the highest standards of recordkeeping, ensure compliance with state statutes and local ordinances, and support the effective functioning of municipal government while making public information readily available to all citizens.

Core Administrative Duties
DOG LICENSE
Owners of all dogs seven months of age or older are required to annually apply to the Clerk’s office for a dog license for the current year. All dog licenses in Woolwich Township expire on December 31st of each year, regardless of when the license was purchased. A late fee of $10.00 per dog will be enforced April 1st. The license must be issued in the name of an adult member of the household.
Fees:
Spayed/ Nuetered: $10.00 Non-Spayed|Non-Nuetered $13.00
Fees After March 31st:
Spayed/ Nuetered: $20.00 Non-Spayed|Non-Nuetered $23.00

Chief Registrar of Voters: The Clerk is responsible for voter registration duties in the municipality, subject to the requirements of Title 19 of the Revised Statutes.

SOLICITING & PEDDLING INFORMATION
In an effort to promote public safety, the Clerk’s office provides a list to residents so they can verify the validity of anyone coming to their home peddling and soliciting, as well as confirming the legality of any person setting up for business in Woolwich Township.

VITAL RECORDS
Request certified copies of several vital records at the Clerk’s Office. Woolwich Township only has the following records if the event took place in the Township.
Marriage Certificates – Death Certificates – Birth Certificates
Fees:
$20.00 for 1st copy
$5.00 for each additional copy(ies) same day request
Marriage License can be purchased by appointment only.
